SMRS is always in need of volunteers. We need people to help with transport, home visits, and pulling all of these cute squishy faces from undesirable situations. Since Short Mugs covers the entire state of TX, and portions of OK and LA, we need volunteers in all possible adoptable areas that are willing to answer the call when help is needed. A volunteer able to do a home visit in a remote area of the state is a great asset to any rescue. Have a special talent? Tell us about it and how you think it could help rescue. Want to help with our events, just sign up to become a volunteer.
If all of the above isn't something that can occur...how about donating? There are many different ways you can donate. Go to our Amazon wishlist. Donate something for our next online auction. SMRS is a registered 501(c)3 so all donations are tax deductible.

You can also become a monthly donor. If 10% of the likes on our Facebook page signed up to give a monthly $20 donation, Short Mugs would be receiving $14,780 monthly. Woohoo! Let's start saving some bullies! All it takes is a PayPal account. Just sign up for the payment to be reoccurring monthly by checking the little box.
Do you ever buy things you need on Amazon? Well, SMRS just happens to be registered on AmazonSmile. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to Short Mugs whenever you shop on AmazonSmile. All you have to do is make sure you sign in via AmazonSmile and choose "Short Mugs Rescue Squad" as your charity. Do this every time you purchase from Amazon. It's easy and most of us are already shopping for great deals on Amazon. Black Friday and Cyber Monday could turn into a windfall of cash for some very lucky bullies.

Ever shop at Kroger? Why don't you register your Kroger Plus Card to give back to SMRS. Kroger has a Neighbor to Neighbor program that allows you to support a charity while shopping at their stores. Within 7 to 10 days of registering your card you will see “At your request, Kroger is donating to Short Mugs Rescue Squad.” There are only a handful of Kroger Plus Cards registered for Short Mugs, but this program can really help out non-profits if you think about how often you shop for groceries. It's as easy as signing up online.
