2013 Calendar Contest

STARTING TODAY (August  1, 2012): Send us your best pet photos to showcase your dog's comical and mischievous personality!! Our first ever 2013 calendar will have 13 winning photographs (one for each month and one for the cover). The entry fee is $5 for each photo and there is no limit on how many photos can be submitted. Breeds we are accepting can be French Bulldog, Pug, Boston Terrier and English Bulldog. Preference will be given to photos which could be said to reflect a seasonal or monthly theme, but this is not required.

 To submit your pet’s photo (August 1st-15th):
Go to Paypal and submit payment using the Donate button on our homepage at www.shortmugsrescuesquad.org. Once you have a Paypal receipt forward that email and your digital photos as an attachment to Courtney at shortmugs@gmail.com. Please include your name and your dog’s name in the email along with your phone number. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PICTURES: August 15th, 2012

How to vote:
Voting will be August 16-31st, 2012. Each vote will cost $1 (5 vote minimum) and you can vote as many times as you want for as many photos as you'd like to see in the calendar. For example, if you want to vote for Buster and you donate $5 that will be 5 votes for Buster. You can split votes if you donate $10, $5 can go to Buster and $5 can go to another dog. When submitting votes, you must specify which dog you want your vote to count for. There is a comment section in PayPal to include this information.

PET CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST RULES
* We can only use photographs of your French Bulldog, Pug, Boston Terrier or English Bulldog – Subject of the photo should fill most of the frame, no humans please.
* We want good quality (minimum 300 dpi) large sized photos landscape only and in JPG format. File size should be no less than 1.5 megabytes.
* Minimum camera resolution should be 3.1 megapixels.
* Please NO cell phone pictures.
* No copyrighted professional photos.
* Cover photo will be selected by SMRS Committee
* All photos submitted will become the property of SMRS for promotional purposes to benefit SRMS.
* Get your friends, family, co-workers and everyone you know to vote for your photo! $1.00 per vote with a 5 vote minimum.                 
* REMEMBER THE MORE VOTES YOUR PET RECEIVES, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES TO WIN!

All proceeds from the photo contest and calendar sales will go toward helping other less fortunate short mugs get a chance to live the good life that they all deserve! Please help us make our first calendar the best ever!
